On September 22, 2021 we had the honor to welcome at our premises in Vasiliko, Chalkida, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Hellenic Republic Mr. Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev accompanied by the Commercial Counselor Mr. Islambek Raimov.
During their visit at the company’s facilities, a meeting was arranged with the president of SABO Group Mr. Dimitris Kiliaris and the managing officers of the company. Apart of that a tour was planed around the offices and production sites, followed by a visit to the city of Chalkida.
Throughout the meeting the attendees discussed multiple proposals with the aim of strengthening trade relations between the two countries as well as the activity of our company in Kazakhstan over the years.
In addition, special emphasis was given to the successful projects that have been completed along with the progress of all the ongoing projects, such as:
- the upgrade operations of a brick factory located in Shymkent and
- the assembly and installation of three automated sorting lines and solid waste management plant with a production capacity of 260 thousand tons of solid waste per year. The plant is expected to significantly contribute to the reduction of the environmental footprint of hazardous waste in the cities of Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Aktobe.
